Salukis will open the 2020 Football season at Kansas on Aug. 29

CARBONDALE, Ill. — A ray of hope for the 2020 football season broke through the Covid-19 clouds today as Southern Illinois announced it has scheduled a game at Kansas to take place on Saturday, Aug. 29. The NCAA granted the schools a "Week Zero" waiver to play the contest.
