Saints’ Drew Brees Apologizes For Remarks On Protests

On Wednesday, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees gave his thoughts on the protests taking place across the country and protests in the NFL.  Brees said that he would “never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America.” These comments had many in the sports community upset with Brees, including Saints teammate Malcolm Jenkins. Brees in the past has been a huge supporter of the U.S. military, donating millions of dollars to various organizations that support American troops.Early Thursday morning, Brees issued a lengthy apology on Instagram, saying that he ac…
