'Sader Stories: Will Schimitsch

Junior William Schimitsch brings leadership and enthusiasm to the Holy Cross cross country and track and field teams – in 2022, he ran personal bests in the 10k (32:45.4) at the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championship, in the 8k (23:18.1) at the Lehigh Paul Short Run and in the 5k (16:12.6) at the Suffolk Short Course Classic. The captain was also selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of his first two years. Schimitsch recently joined us to let us know a little more about his background, his career on The Hill and his goals for the season.
