Pistorius Named NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week

Middlebury College linebacker Jack Pistorius (Park Ridge, Ill.) has been named the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week. The junior made a game-high 13 tackles in Middlebury's 34-31 double-overtime win at Amherst. He recorded 12 solo tackles and two tackles for loss, including one in the first overtime, during the victory. Pistorius leads the team with 34 tackles through four games, to go along with 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. The 4-0 Panthers return home this Saturday when they host Colby at 1:00 p.m.
