Piedra tabbed Lone Star Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State's Fernando Piedra garnered Lone Star Conference Special Teams Player of the Week as released by league officials Monday morning.

The sophomore punter from Jacksboro, Texas provided the special teams' edge in the 20th-ranked Mustangs' 35-17 win at No. 17 Angelo State Saturday night at LeGrand Stadium.
