Patriots Three Strokes Back from Top Spot after First Round of RedHawk Fall Classic

Athens, AL – Following day one of the RedHawk Fall Classic, UC men's golf sits just three strokes out of the lead. The Patriots clubbed a team score of 292 (+4) in their first 18 at Canebrake Golf Club, manning the second-place spot in the five team tournament. This performance marks the second time this season that the Patriots have sat in second after a first round, with the Patriots improving by seven strokes over their 299 (+11) performance in round one of the East Tennessee Collegiate Invite last week.
