NFL Quarterback Benched For Second Time This Season

By Matt Audilet The Atlanta Falcons are benching Desmond Ridder for the second time this season, per team insider Josh Kendall of The Athletic. Ridder has led the Falcons to two straight losses — including an ugly 9-7 loss to the previously 1-12 Carolina Panthers this past weekend. Veteran quarterback Taylor Heinicke will get the start for the Falcons when they face off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16.
