News and Notes ahead of St. Thomas

South Dakota hosts St. Thomas at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Coyotes' home opener. It is the first meeting between the two programs since 1979 when South Dakota faced St. Thomas in its first game played inside the DakotaDome. It is also Ag Appreciation Day.
