New defensive coordinator D.J. Vokolek talks coaching style

CARBONDALE, Ill. — During the first week of spring ball, new SIU defensive coordinator D.J. Vokolek is emphasizing a fundamentally sound, disciplined approach to defense. Vokolek has more than 25 years of collegiate coaching experience, including several stints in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
