Mitchell Selected as NM State's Offensive Line Coach

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Andrew Mitchell, who made coaching stops at a pair of Power Five institutions following a stellar playing career, will serve as the offensive line coach for the NM State football team.

Like a number of other individuals on head coach Jerry Kill's staff, Mitchell matriculated to Las Cruces, N.M., following a run on staff at TCU. There, in 2021, Mitchell's second stint in Fort Worth, Texas, was in the role of an offensive analyst for the Horned Frogs. Mitchell helped TCU claim one victory over a nationally-ranked foe (#12 Baylor on Nov. 6, 2021) en route to a 5-7 mark.

Mitchell returned to the Lone Star State following a three-year run at one of the premier junior college programs in the nation. From February of 2017 until December of 2020, Mitchell held various positions at Snow College in Ephiram, Utah, most notably as the program's head coach in 2019 and 2020.
