McMahon earns CoSIDA Academic All-America for second straight season

AUSTIN, Texas – For the second straight season, defensive lineman Patrick McMahon (Inverness, Ill.) has been named CoSIDA Academic First Team All-America in Division II. This group of outstanding student-athletes is one of the highest honors and McMahon has excelled in the classroom and on the field throughout his career. As one of the original recruits at Davenport when the program began, McMahon has laid a foundation of what it means to be a complete student-athlete. He maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in accounting and is currently in graduate school to obtain a master's degree.
