Matt Coutney Named CoSIDA Academic All-American

NORFOLK, Va. – Add another honor to the list for Matt Coutney. Old Dominion's senior first baseman earned third-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) announced on Wednesday. Coutney is the first baseball player since James Burok in 2005 to earn the honor and first ODU student-athlete since Niko Klosterhalfen and Iris Achterhof in 2018 to be named CoSIDA Academic All-American.
