Lucas Leads List of Pointers to Earn All-WIAC Honors

MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point football team landed athletes on all three All-WIAC team announced on Thursday (Nov. 21) by the league office.  Donovan Lucas (Milwaukee, Wis./Brown Deer) led the way as he picked up a trio of awards, including first-team defense, first-team special teams as a return specialist and honorable mention special teams as a special teams player.  Seniors Jonte Webb (Marinette, Wis./Marinette) and Jalen Burks (Milwaukee, Wis./Riverside) earned All-WIAC second team offense laurels.  Kameron Kryzanski (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) and Felix King (Chicago, Ill./John Adams) picked up second team defense honors.  Berkley Corvino (Weston, Wis./DC Everest) and Nevada Laabs (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) were named to the honorable mention defense team.  Senior Sam Shafer (Prescott, Wis./River Falls) was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
