Look: Chiefs Are Reportedly Signing Veteran Quarterback

Gabbert is expected to be the primary backup behind Patrick Mahomes. Gabbert, the 10th overall pick from the 2011 NFL Draft, has been with the Buccaneers since 2019. He sat behind Tom Brady for the majority of his tenure in Tampa. Over the course of Gabbert's career, he has completed 56.4 percent of his passes for 9,302 yards with 51 touchdowns and 47 interceptions.
