Let's Ride: (RV) Muleriders, Southeastern Oklahoma convene in Magnolia to kickoff '23 campaign

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – 291 days is a long time. When those 291 days separate seasons of Mulerider Football, that time is excruciatingly long. Mulerider Country… that wait is over. Southern Arkansas, under second-year head coach Brad Smiley, returns to the gridiron on Thursday amid a ton of excitement to commence the program's 105th season of football. Up first for the Muleriders, who are receiving votes in the American Football Coaches Association Preseason Top 25 and were picked fourth in the Great American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, is longtime Sooner State foe Southeastern Oklahoma, the league's No. 5 pick in the preseason rankings.
