Last Second Field Goal lifts Cornell over Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – A wet, windy and dreary day at Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field ended in heartbreaking fashion for the Yale football team. Jackson Kennedy's third field goal of the afternoon, a 37-yarder as time expired, lifted Cornell to a 23-21 victory in the Ivy League opener for both teams.
