Lakers Land Five On CCA Super Region 3 First-Team

A region-high seven Grand Valley State Lakers were selected to the Super Region 3 Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) football team, including five on the first-team, it was announced today. Senior linebacker Abe Swanson and senior defensive end Christian McCarroll were repeat honorees on the first-team, while senior offensive linemen Garrett Carroll and Jordan Davis, and return specialist Darrell Johnson were also first-team selections. Sophomore linebacker Anthony Cardamone and sophomore defensive end Niles King were named CCA second-team.
