King Earns CAA Rookie of the Week Honor After Standout Performance at No. 4 Oregon

RICHMOND, Va. – After a standout performance on Saturday against No. 4 Oregon, redshirt freshman linebacker Tyler King has been named the CAA Football Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. The CAA weekly honor is the first of King's career and he is the first Stony Brook football student-athlete to be tabbed the CAA Rookie of the Week since Nick Chimienti on March 29, 2021.
