Key, Kilpatrick and Warwick named to 2022 Hampshire Honor Society

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the National Football Foundation announced its 2022 Hampshire Honor Society, the Tennessee Tech football team had three players selected for inclusion as Jarrett Key, Tavin Kilpatrick and Jack Warwick were all named to the roster of 1,559 players from 313 colleges and universities across all levels of the game.

Key, an accounting major with a 3.67 GPA, played every game at long snapper and was a crucial part of Tech’s kicking game, taking part in every kick the Golden Eagles had during his career.

Warwick, an animal science major with an emphasis in pre-veterinary medicine, posted a 3.41 GPA. He finished the season with 56 total tackles, including 3.5 for-loss, while also breaking up a pass and recovering a fumble.

Kilpatrick, the team’s William V. Campbell nominee last fall, graduated with a 3.74 in mechanical engineering and continues his postgraduate work toward a master’s in business administration. A preseason injury kept him from playing in the 2021 campaign. A spring 2021 inductee to the Hampshire Honor Society as well, he was retained for the 2022 selection after electing to return for another season.
