Josh Brown Wins GSC Freshman of the Week After First Start

ROME, Ga. — Quarterback, Joshua Brown (RS-Freshman) led the Hawks to victory this weekend over the Erskine College Flying Fleet. Brown finished the day 19-21 in pass attempts for 197 passing yards and one touchdown, and four rushing attempts for 32 yards. "I am extremely proud of Josh for stepping up, he had a great week of practice and put us in a great position to win the game," said head coach Zach Morrison. Quarterback coach and offensive coordinator Blake Robles said of the award, "Josh's performance is a combination of his individual drive, ability and the rest of the unit from coaching staff down to players doing their job."
