Hutra, Callahan, and Lewin Collect NEWMAC Weekly Honors

Springfield, Mass. – September 13, 2021 – After leading the Springfield College football team to a 46-24 win at Rowan for their first win of the season, three Springfield College student-athletes were honored by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) for their efforts on the gridiron.  Christian Hutra (Holmes, N.Y.) was named the NEWMAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week, Tim Callahan (Enfield, Conn.) collected NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week honors, and Aiden Lewin (Orlando, Fla.) was tabbed the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.
