Harvey, Nelson Earn Player of the Week Honors

The Westfield State football team – led by the strong showings of this week’s Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Cade Nelson (Shrewsbury, Mass.), and the MASCAC Special Teams Player of the Week, Cooper Harvey (Niskayuna, N.Y.) – put up a real fight in the 26-23, overtime loss against UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, October 14.
