GVSU Leads The Nation In Football Attendance For The 10th Consecutive Year

The NCAA released its football attendance figures for the 2021 season and for the 10th consecutive year Grand Valley State led the nation in Division II attendance. Lubbers Stadium hosted 76,334 fans for an average of 10,905 per game during the 50th season of Laker football. The Lakers held four of the top eight spots among the single-game leaders nationally, including a GVSU single-game record 17,007 versus Ferris State. In addition, each of the Lakers' regular-season home games (6) ranked among the top 20 single-game ledgers for the 2021 season. The seven remaining schools in the GLIAC posted an attendance average of 2,520.
