GVSU Laker Football Concludes 2023 Ranked #3 In Final Polls

The Grand Valley State Laker football team finished the 2023 campaign ranked #3 in both the AFCA Coaches and D2football.com national polls. The Lakers finished the season 11-2 overall, claimed their second consecutive GLIAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II quarterfinal round of the playoffs. GVSU played eight games against teams that were ranked nationally at the time of the game and five games against teams that finished among the top six in the final ranking.
