Griffin Recognized For School-Record Performance

After setting a single-game program record with three interceptions in the Maritime College football team's season-opening 34-11 win over Hartwick on Saturday, junior defensive back Aidan Griffin (Queens, NY) has been honored by both the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and D3football.com.  Griffin was chosen as the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week, and he also earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.
