Gonzales Posts WCU’s Best-Ever Finish in Payton Award Vote

Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina sophomore quarterback Cole Gonzales finished a program-best 17th overall in the national voting for the 2023 Walter Payton Award, presented by FedEx ground and announced by Stats Perform FCS as the trio of award finalists were released today.
