Golden Eagle football to face James Madison in 2025

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison has a long-standing football tradition with years of success in the Football Championship Subdivision. Now members of the top-tier Football Bowl Subdivision, the Dukes will play host to Tennessee Tech for the first time in the 2025 campaign.

The game was announced by James Madison on Monday.

The Dukes are currently 7-0 this season, including a 4-0 mark in the Sun Belt Conference. JMU defeated Virginia 36-35 on Sept. 9 and Utah State 45-38 on Sept. 23 and is coming off of a 20-9 win at Marshall last week.
