Football’s Late Rally Falls Short in Spring Opener

SEWANEE, Tenn. – For the first time in the 125-plus year history of college football at the University of the South, there was spring football at historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium. Sewanee battled Greensboro College on a bright, sunny Saturday afternoon, but it was the visitors who held up the 24-21 victory.
