Football Wins Road Overtime Thriller

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Carroll University Pioneer football team played in its first overtime game since 2015, and came away with a thrilling victory over the Augustana Vikings by a score of 29-26. The Pioneers went for it on 4th and goal from the Vikings 4-yard line, and Michael Johnson connected with Austin Eichstaedt for the duo's third touchdown of the game. Jordan Gaulke led the Pioneer defense with eight tackles, a tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery in the win.
