[Football] White, Omosule named All-Americans

Tigers earn multiple MSC, NAIA postseason honorsTo say 2021 was different would be an understatement. However, Georgetown College football passed every test and is still reaping the accolades. The team played two seasons in a calendar year – going 14-4 and finished ranked 15th in the fall, just on the outside of a second postseason bid in 2021.Monday the American Football Coaches Association announced its All-America honorees for the NAIA. For the second time this year, Tigers DJ White and Marcus Omosule were among the best defensively.White, a two-time first-team honoree, finished the fall with 9.5 sacks – ranking ninth in the nation. His 69 sack yards was seventh. He also had 45 tackles to average 4.5 a game.
