[Football] Warriors Survive Scare, Outlast Trojans 26-21

FOREST CITY, IOWA – The Waldorf football team squandered a 20-0 lead, but came from behind to score a late touchdown and seal a 26-21 victory over conference opponent Dakota State in Homecoming Weekend action at Bolstorff Field on Saturday. With just over one minute remaining and nursing a tender 26-21 lead, the Waldorf offense faced a crucial 3rd and 12 from its own 38 yard line.  Dakota State (3-2, 2-1 North Star Athletic Association) had no timeouts remaining, incentivizing an obvious running play.  Against all odds, senior running back Jatoviay Hill (Davenport, IA/Iowa Central CC) broke through to the second level of the Trojan defense and rumbled 22 tough yards for the game-sealing first down.
