[Football] Warriors Push No. 2 Northwestern to Limit; Fall in OT

FREMONT, Neb. – Regulation was not enough to determine a victor on Saturday afternoon as Midland University took on No. 2 Northwestern College at Heedum Field. The teams battle the heat and humidity for 60 minutes, playing to a 29-29 tie. In overtime, the Raiders scored on their possession and then kept a pesky Warriors' team from completing the upset, winning 35-29. Midland falls to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) while Northwestern improves to 3-0 and 2-0.
