Football Unable to Keep Pace With No. 15 Cortland on Senior Day

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher College football team was on the wrong end of a 55-3 loss on Saturday as the Cardinals fell to nationally-ranked SUNY Cortland in an Empire 8 tilt inside Growney Stadium.  With the defeat, Fisher, which celebrated and honored its senior class prior to the opening kickoff, fell to 4-5 on the year and 2-3 in the conference standings while the Red Dragons, who are ranked 15th in the latest D3football.com national poll, remained unbeaten at 9-0, 6-0, respectively.
