[Football] Twon Collymore Named Second-Team AP NAIA All-American

STERLING, KAN. – The 2019 Associated Press NAIA All-America team was released on Friday morning. The team, presented by Regions Bank was selected by a panel of sports information directors and the AP. Twon Collymore (SO/Manning, S.C.) was named a Second-Team Associated Press NAIA All-American at defensive back for the Warriors. Collymore was recently named a First-Team AFCA-NAIA All-American for Sterling. He was a unanimous All-KCAC First Team defensive back for the Warriors, finishing second in the KCAC with six interceptions on the year, returning one for a touchdown. He collected a total of 32 tackles on the season and had a total of 13 pass breakups on the year. Collymore finished the season 2nd in the NAIA in Interceptions per Game (0.7), 5th in Total Interceptions (6), and 9th in Passes Defended per Game (1.4).
