[Football] True Grit: Thresher Football Reaches 8-0 after Trudging to Victory over Friends

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Those who attended this afternoon's gridiron matchup between the Bethel Threshers and Friends Falcons are likely still trying to dry off from the downpour. The rain, which lasted through the entirety of the game, became an issue for both sides but particularly affected the Thresher rush offense. Bethel fought through 12 total fumbles, losing five of them, but still played their gritty brand of Thresher football and came through with the victory. The Threshers defeated the Falcons 34-22, and moved to 8-0 on the season to match the famous 1984 squad.
