Football to Face RPI for the Transit Trophy on Saturday – What is the Transit Trophy?

The 114th meeting between WPI and RPI is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 in Worcester. The visitors enjoy a 60-48-5 edge in the series but since Chris Robertson has become head coach at WPI, Worcester Engineers has won five of the 10 Transit Trophy, including a thrilling 6-3 home victory in September of 2019. RPI sports a 26-13-1 mark since the trophy was first awarded in 1980.
