[Football] The Skyhawks Fall at Home against #17 Bethel University

West Point, Ga. – Point University hosted their 2nd home game of the season against the #17 ranked Bethel University Wildcats. The Wildcats took the 48-21 victory after a hard-fought game. The Skyhawks' record falls to 1-4 on the season. Bethel scored a touchdown with 10-minutes left on the clock in the 1st quarter. The Wildcats would add two more scores lead 21-0 at the end of the first 15 minutes. In the 2nd quarter, the Skyhawks were able to cross the goal line with 14 seconds left on the clock. Bethel found the endzone twice more during the second quarter, going into halftime leading the Skyhawks 34-7. After halftime, Point held Bethel to two second half scores and the Skyhawks were able to score 2 touchdowns of their own in the 4th quarter. The game ended 48-21 in favor of the visitors.
