Football receives votes in preseason rankings, cautious optimism abounds at BU

BLUEFIELD – The 2023 Bluefield University football team played to an 8-3 record, 5-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, the best finish and record for the team since the reinstitution of the program in 2012. To begin the 2023 season BU is receiving votes in the NAIA preseason rankings. As the team breaks camp and prepares for its season opening game August 26 against Florida Memorial University, expectations are cautiously high for the Rams.
