Football ranked No. 9 in Stats Perform preseason poll

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois begins the year ranked No. 9 in the Stats Perform FCS preseason poll announced on Monday. The Salukis are coming off of back-to-back FCS Playoff appearances and are one of only five programs in the country to advance to the round of 16 in the playoffs the last two seasons.
