Football Preview: Blue Devils open season with 6 pm Saturday contest at Wartburg

The UW-Stout football team will get the season underway Saturday, Sept. 10 when they travel to Wartburg College for a 6 p.m. start in Waverly, Iowa. The Blue Devils return the vast majority of their starters from last season. Wartburg College is coming off a season-opening 34-7 win at Monmouth College last weekend. The two teams have met only twice in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015, and the Knights swept both games.
