FOOTBALL OPENS SEASON AT DIXIE STATE ON SATURDAY

The Sacramento State football team will begin its 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4, at Dixie State in St. George, Utah. The game against the Trailblazers is scheduled to kick off at 6 pm PT from Greater Zion Stadium. The contest will mark the first time the Hornets have competed in 637 days. The team last saw action in the second round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs on Dec. 7, 2019. Sacramento State opted out of the 2020 season.
