[Football] Monster Mash: Thresher Defense Plays Big in 38-0 Victory at Bethany

LINDSBORG, Kan. – After two consecutive weeks of historic offensive performances by the Thresher offense, today was the defense's time to shine. Bethel compiled nine total sacks, the most by any team in the NAIA this season. More impressively, the Threshers held Bethany to negative total offensive yards through the first three quarters. Bethany eventually found some positive yardage with 48 total yards in the game. The Threshers pitched a defensive shutout for the first time since 2017, and allowed their offense to put it on cruise control in the 38-0 victory.
