[Football] Marshal Chace and Innocent Okoh Shine in Saints Loss

Aberdeen, SD – The Presentation Saints fell to the Waldorf Warriors by a score of 38-22. The loss drops the Saints to 0-5, while the win brings the Warriors to 3-1.Waldorf scored four touchdowns in the first quarter, the first on a 65 yard pass from Jordan Cooper to La'Quante Harri. After another touchdown pass from Cooper made the score 14-0, the Saints defense made a big play to get on the scoreboard. Sam Motzkus sacked Cooper, forcing a fumble. It was then recovered by Treden Davis-Reed and returned for a touchdown.Cooper then passed for two more touchdowns in the first quarter. The first was a 33 yard pass to Deontae Morgan, and the second was a one yard pass to Chase Hansen.The only score of the second quarter was a five-yard run by Innocent Okoh. It was a notable day for Okoh, as he rushed for 76 yards, passing both Will Vealy (2011-2012) and Nathan Jones (2015-2018) on the Presentation College all-time rushing rankings. His career total of 1,314 yards now ranks second, only behind Hayden Zenner (2014-2015).After the Warriors scored 10 points in the third, the Saints would score the last touchdown of the game in the fourth. On a fourth and goal, the Saints scored on a four yard pass from Hunter Giffrow to DiJuan McCullom.Marshal Chace had a breakout game for the Saints. He made six catches for 124 yards. He made an acrobatic catch late in the fourth quarter for a 33 yard gain.The Saints defense totaled four sacks in the game, two by Benjamin Heather, and one each from Alex Karp and Sam Motzkus. Up Next: The Saints go on the road next week, travelling to Dickinson State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 2pm.
