[Football] Jordan Lawton Earns MSFA Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Bourbonnais, Ill. – Jordan Lawton (SR/Lakewood, Calif.) was named the Midstates Football Association Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in last Saturday's game against Saint Xavier. In the game, Lawton set two ONU records. Lawton passed for 378 yards and ran for 92 yards, giving him 470 total yards for the game. Lawton's total yards gained were the highest amount of yards in a game in school history. Lawton also threw for four touchdowns and ran for another. These five touchdowns tie LaShaun Rule (JR/South Holland, Ill.) (2019) and Nick Darland (2009) for most touchdowns in a game in school history.
