Football Hands Out First Weekly Awards, Luttrell Named Heavy Hitter

HICKORY, N.C. – After a dominating 48-7 win on the road at Virginia State to open the 2021 season, the Lenoir-Rhyne football program has announced its weekly award winners. Sophomore wide receiver Tre Luttrell was named the first Ronnie Lott Heavy Hitter of the Week for 2021 after a great catch over the middle and huge contributions on special teams. Southside Power and Fitness will make a contribution to Habitat for Humanity in honor of Luttrell as this week's winner of the Heavy Hitter Award.
