[Football] Football Struggles to Find Rhythm at St Mary

Leavenworth, Kan.-It was not the storybook start that one would have hoped for as a new season, and new era, of Warrior football began over the weekend. New Head Coach, Darren Jackson, brings in a new style and a number of new coaches but has retained a number of returning players. What this means is that everyone on the field is learning something new; terms, responsibilities and sometimes positions. All these factors lead to growing pains at times and all too often week one is when those growing pains start. Sterling took a week one loss to the University of Saint Mary by a final score of 37-11 Saturday night.
