[Football] Football Set To Honor Seniors And Renew Rivalry With Savannah State On Saturday

Jacksonville, Florida-Saturday's football contest will have several special meanings as Edward Waters will host the Tigers of Savannah State University. First, ten seniors will don the Purple & Orange for their final home football contest of their careers. Secondly, Edward Waters will welcome one of its oldest rivals to Jacksonville as it will be Savannah State's first time in the 904 since 1966. Finally, Saturday's contest will be the final time that Edward Waters will play away from campus as the Tigers are slated to move into the new on-campus Nathaniel Glover Community Field & Stadium in 2020. Kickoff from "The Shipyard" at First Coast High School is set for 3:00pm and can be seen via the Black College Sports Network (mybcsn.net/ewc) as well as heard locally on WJXL-AM/1010 XL with the "Voice of the Tigers" Joshua C. Jackson and color commentator Bryan Fulford on the play-by-play.
