Football Ends Regular Season with Dominant Victory at Nebraska Wesleyan

LINCOLN, Ne. – The Coe College football team took down Nebraska Wesleyan 53-21 on Saturday afternoon after a dominant effort on both sides of the ball. The Kohawks opened up a 28-7 lead in the first half after four rushing touchdowns and went on to add three passing touchdowns in the second period to cruise to the victory. Coe rushed for 242 total yards in the game for an average of 3.8 yards per carry while passing for 244-yards. Coe, which extended its winning streak to five games, moves to 8-2 with the victory and 6-2 in the league while NWU falls to 4-6 overall and 2-6 in the league.
