[Football] Eagles Drop Third-Straight; Fall on Road to #6 Marian

INDIANAPOLIS (Ind.) — Despite running twice as many offensive plays — 76 to 38 — and holding the ball for a nearly 44 of the game's 60 minutes, the Robert Morris University-Illinois offense managed just a single score — a fourth quarter pass from junior quarterback Jack Sheehan to wide receiver Blaize Griffin — on Saturday night as the Eagles fell 49-7 to the 6th-ranked Knights of Marian University on the road at St. Vincent Field. The loss was the third-straight for the RMU football program, which falls to 1-3 (0-0, MSFA) on the year.
