Football Announces Incoming Class

Erie, Pa. – On National Football Signing Day, the Mercyhurst football program releases their newest batch of Lakers. The team welcomes 24 new student-athletes to the brotherhood ahead of the 2024 season, hoping each can come and make a name for themselves on the gridiron. Of those 24 recruits, Mercyhurst adds two transfers with Ernest Davis and Alex Vazquez coming in with some experience under their belt while the other 22 are set to compete collegiately for the first time. The class proved to be a balanced one as 11 of the newest Lakers come in on offense with 10 set to play on the defensive side of the ball while the team also welcome to athletes and one special teams specialist.
